Welcome to Fourth Grade!

The new school year has begun and I am thrilled to have you in our class! We have made great progress in the first few weeks of school learning our routines and procedures. At the center of our work are the Y.E.S. core values - fairness, kindness, citizenship and respect. We are putting these values into action and modeling for the younger students how to be a positive contributors to our learning community.

Our classroom economy has officially started and I cannot wait to see the hard work you will put forth this year to make our classroom a fun and efficient place to learn and grow. Be sure to share with your families about your new job, salaries and the ways in which fourth graders can earn (and hopefully not lose!) money towards our weekly auctions.

I hope you are enjoying the transition back to school as well as the warm, sunny days and cool September nights. We have a great year ahead of us!

Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation and all the fun opportunities it brings! It is hard to believe that in a few short weeks the new school year will begin. I am very excited to be your teacher this year and know we will have a lot of fun learning and growing together.

Before the school year begins, Yarmouth Elementary School will be hosting an Open House for you to come meet me and see your new classroom. Here are a few details:

When: August, 31 at 9:30 - 10:30 in the morning

Please feel free to bring in your school supplies as many of these items will be shared amongst your classmates. I hope you and your families can attend! I hope you enjoy the last few weeks of summer vacation and take advantage of the beautiful weather! I look forward to meeting you!
